Thanks to its sheer size, huge wheels and that front grille, the Rolls-Royce Dawn is hardly a subtle car. But, some people want a car as far from understatement as possible, and those folks might be interested in what Spofec has done to the luxury drop-top.
Spofec (a named derived from SPirit OF ECstasy) is a part of the Novitec Group, so you can probably see where this is going: we have aggressive front and rear bumpers, enormous wheels and wide arches. Yep, a Rolls-Royce Dawn wide body. It’s called the ‘Overdose’ (obviously), and only eight will be built. The front axle is 13 centimeters wider than the standard car’s, and in each of those bulging wheel arches you’ll find a 22-inch wheel splashed in whatever colour you fancy.
As well as being much more brazen than a stock Dawn, it’s also much more powerful. The 6.6-litre twin-turbo V12 now churns out 677bhp, up from 563bhp, cutting the 0-62mph time from 4.9 to 4.6 seconds. The torque is the most impressive thing though: the V12 is now good for 723lb ft of twist - more than you get in the new Corvette ZR1.
