Get ready to be the one who chooses the name of a car. After revealing its Ateca SUV, Seat has built a new SUV and is asking the public to choose its name. Doesn’t it sound interesting, driving a car with a name you personally chose?
Seat’s own Ateca small SUV is relatively inoffensive in the name department, by comparison, and presumably the Spanish firm is looking for something similar. The one proviso is that it has to come from Spanish geography. Suggestions for names are being invited on Twitter using the hashtag#SEATseekingName (caps optional).
After a while and a bit of market research, Seat will respond with a shortlist of three potential names for the car, which will share most of its greasy bits with the Skoda Kodiaq (Skodiaq?). Then the good people of social media will get to vote for their favourite. The winner will be announced in October.
